So you need a website, huh? Here's what you'll need to get you started.
PHASE 1: GETTING STARTED
Before we can get started designing the website, we need to collect all existing brand materials, sign contracts and get the first 50% of the deposit paid.
Do you have an existing website? Have you purchased a domain name? Have you set up your SquareSpace account?
PHASE 1 OF THE DESIGN PROCESS:
Much of the design process comes from doing good research and creative brainstorming. Please provide all existing brand collateral as a jumping off point as well as all the text copy as it should appear (or as close as possible to how it should appear) on the website.
PHASE 2: DESIGN + APPROVAL: [DESIGNER]
The design process is iterative! It is hardly the case that we get everything right the first time. Your website design includes 3 ROUNDS of ‘Phase 2: Design and Approval’ TOTAL. Additional edits will be billed at hourly rate per the service agreement.
PHASE 2: DESIGN + APPROVAL: [CLIENT]
After the initial design, the client will be asked to review and approve/request edits. Please allow a 24-48 hour review period and be as thorough as possible with your edits. Designer will schedule a phone call or Skype to review before additional edits are made to the website.
PHASE 3: GOING LIVE + FINAL STEPS
The home stretch! At this point in the website process, all design elements are confirmed by both the client and the designer. Edits should be made only if they affect the usability of the website (i.e. buttons, links, font size). Further edits beyond this round will be billed separately.
